Forget About Your Song

What song? You know the one that played when you first met; the one that was supposed to be your wedding song; the one that always make you think of one particular person… That song! Forget it!

Music is VERY important when it comes to forgetting your ex. I am telling you this because I always ruin all of my efforts with a single song. I am having a great time, I am meeting new people and life is good again. Then, out of nowhere, that song comes up on my playlist and breaks my heart all over again.

Think Less About Your Ex!

Hello again my dear readers with broken hearts. :)

Today’s lesson is very important one. I intentionally didn’t put it as first step towards obtaining happiness after you had a painful break up, because I wanted to give you some basic ways to get you thoughts away from the main problem.

After couple of days, or weeks, practicing to direct your mind into thinking about books or TV shows, you are probably getting used to thinking less about your ex. In my own experience, the first days after a break up are pathetic and painful, but what comes afterwards is the real torture. This particular torture is what we tend to do to ourselves and it is called stalking the hell out of your ex.

Horoscope gives you hope!

Couple of days have passed after my last post. I hope you were reading some books and watching some shows to keep your mind busy. I know I did, and it felt great!

If you missed my first two steps, you can find the first one here and the second here.

Please don't be judgmental when I say that horoscope is good when it comes to surviving a painful break up. I am not saying that you should spend money paying for personalized charts or believe in everything you read in the daily horoscopes, but it is allowed to find some comfort in nice predictions.

Step nо. 2 - TV shows!

Well, I guess you all remember the first step of surviving a breakup.

You do? Great!

Now it's time for the second step, which is watching TV shows!

Of course, movies are great, movies are romantic and they take your thoughts away for couple of hours. Unfortunately, couple of hours are not enough for our brains and broken hearts to forget the pain any longer than that.
